Landlord, tenant relationships at best have complications, and more often than not, there are problems. Being a tenant at Samantha’s Lil Bit of Heaven, however, has been the rare exception. I cannot even begin to express how fantastic Samantha has been in allowing Beth Yeshua to use her facility. She has encouraged every activity and is more of a gracious hostess than a landlord.

 Samantha was willing to let us use her premises for our Sunday worship for whatever amount we deemed to be equitable, and said that even that need not be a concern, should it prove to be a hardship. In addition, when we come Sunday mornings, Samantha sees to it that we have coffee (regular, decaf, and even flavored coffee), in addition to fresh bagels and rolls. There is cream cheese, butter and milk, in addition to an assortment of cakes and pastries. What kind of landlord makes you so at home, and humbly feels she is not doing enough?

 Whenever we can schedule other activities, such as Messianic Nights, Samantha again provided the facility,

snacks, etc…and refuses extra compensation. She is fully supportive of our ministry, and is charming too. I might add that her husband Anthony has been equally supportive and encouraging. It is so cute to see how he not only enjoys the word, but is so anxious to learn more of the Jewish roots (maybe that’s why he married a Yiddishe meidel), and to expand his knowledge of the Hebrew language.

 Having said all this, isn’t it a contradiction and  mishuggeneh (crazy) to inform you that we, Lord willing, plan to be leaving. Who in his right mind would leave a home that has been so affordable, congenial and comfortable? If the Lord was not in it, you would be right. So let me explain.

 Prior to accepting Samantha’s invitation to use Heaven, we first imagined that the Olive Tree location in Plainview would be preferable. Unfortunately, there was a major complication due to the fact that the Olive Tree rented the facility to a day care center that occupies much of the premises. In fact, when we hold Wednesday evening bible studies, and when the sanctuary is used by Olive Tree on Saturdays, a crew must come in to remove all of the
